Key Responsibilities:
» Execute the vision to generate and support innovative and landmark elearning programs and initiatives while leveraging the ‘Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University’ brand and maintaining an excellence in delivery.
» Brainstorm with senior members of HBMSU, such as school deans, faculty and ITS senior leadership team, create vision and strategies, which further the teaching and learning goals and objectives of the university.
» Provide leadership in operational and strategic planning and policy related to e-learning, and instructional technology initiatives; ensure that academic technology issues and requirements are incorporated into the university’s overall technology plan.
» Serve as a catalyst for developing HBMSU wide programs and services with associated policies and procedures that facilitate the delivery of technology enhanced teaching and learning.
» Provide overall leadership and direction to HBMSU staff responsible for developing new innovative classrooms and learning spaces, providing technology and support, providing IT training to faculty, staff, and students.
» Empower faculty, associates, and staff with job-specific tools and applications of Smart learning technologies & pedagogy through Professional Capacity Development programs
» Interact with all levels of leadership across the university to insure alignment of technology solutions and services with the goals and priorities of HBMSU.

2- Director, eLearning Center of Excellence – Ministry of Communications & Information Technology – Egypt

» Team management, annual planning, budget/fiscal, planning and expenditures and

3. HMH-EMPGI (Dublin, Ireland) in the Digital content development and Education Innovation center, as I was working on designing interactive educational material for schools based on instructional Design standards, developing  storyboards script, developing  technical Documentations such as: SMEs Guidelines, Courseware design general specifications doc, Technical Specifications doc, ID specifications doc, in addition using the appropriate technology to develop the instruction material for K-12.

4- Aptech Global Learning Solutions (Mumbai, India)

I was working in the eContent Factory of Aptech to lead a team for designing rich media interactive content for higher Education.

Moreover; I am a consultant for the Egyptian E-Learning University (EELU)- Higher Education, and the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt: for eContent Development and Instructional Design, my role is to provide  technical consultations in different eLearning aspects and curriculum development such as; Design eLearning Curriculum for (SMEs, IDs, e-content designers, Instructors and Faculty academic staff, eLearning Managers), Provide the methodologies and techniques required for  assessing and evaluating the courseware.

In addition I’m also working as a lecturer at the EELU for conducting the core courses of Online Teaching and eLearning Technologies, eLearning/mLearning courseware design Techniques, eLearning instructional Design and Pedagogical Theories, evaluation of eLearning environment, and eLearning Management and leadership.
